The debut single and fiery torch song cover "Cry Me A River," from the Bay Area, CA native singer-songwriter Mara Hruby, is just a puzzle piece to her emotionally drenched EP entitled 'Archaic Rapture' that released in 2014. This video concludes her open ended Part I video and reveals a further vulnerable side of what Ms. Hruby experienced. This is something unlike anything you have ever seen or heard from her.
This video is a visual representation of all that lingered within Ms. Hruby at the time of her first heartbreak prior to her EP being recorded. Shot and Directed by Dr. Woo of Light Up Film, you are able to take a look into the private heart of the singer who lost a love she once believed in. Shot in Ms. Hruby's childhood home in Oakland, you get to see a side of her that has always remained private. "This is a video to remind young women that we can get past any obstacle relating to matters of the heart if we simply allow our natural emotions to flow instead of denying ourselves that needed process to heal." says Ms. Hruby.
